Tayla has a strong interest in women’s and children’s health, supporting them through every stage of life. She is passionate about taking a holistic approach to each patient, addressing not just the symptoms but the underlying causes of their concerns.
Her approach is established in understanding the underlying causes of pain and discomfort, and she tailors her treatments to meet each patient’s unique needs. Tayla uses a range of gentle manual therapy techniques, including myofascial release, soft tissue trigger point release, joint mobilisation, balance techniques, and craniosacral techniques.
Tayla has a particular interest in helping women experiencing pelvic pain, especially those with endometriosis. Through osteopathy, her aim is to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and support overall well-being. By addressing the musculoskeletal imbalances that often accompany such conditions, she offers a comprehensive treatment plan that goes beyond symptom management.
She also has a deep passion for supporting women through pregnancy-related pain. Pregnancy brings about many physical changes that can result in discomfort, from lower back and pelvic pain to sciatica and postural strain. Tayla’s approach focuses on relieving these discomforts and ensuring that women feel supported throughout their pregnancy, aiding in mobility, reducing tension, and preparing the body for labour. Her gentle techniques can help alleviate pain while promoting overall wellness, ensuring a more comfortable pregnancy journey.
In addition, Tayla has experience treating babies and children with various concerns, including birth strains or trauma, tongue and oral ties, colic, reflux, growth and development strain, and sports-related injuries. In 2023, Tayla attended the International Osteopathic Conference in London, where she co-presented her Master’s research paper. This research has inspired her clinical practice, deepening her passion for the benefits osteopathy can offer in paediatric care.
Her philosophy is to educate patients, empowering them with the knowledge to understand their bodies and take back control of their health. Whether you’re dealing with chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, pregnancy-related pain, tongue tie, or concerns about your baby’s development, Tayla is here to guide you on your journey to healing and a life filled with vitality and movement.
